So, now that Ian is gone, and his girlfriend Allie and I have moved into our house, with only the help of Ian’s parents, we have arrived at the house. I’m still sick, which made this process much less enjoyable, but we have arrived in the new house. New muscles have been found in this process, that’s for sure.
I haven’t been riding in a while, like a week, which is driving me insane, but i see the light at the end of the tunnel to this sickness train, and it looks like I’ll be riding soon. The weather was so great today. Allie and I both woke up to the sun shining in through our windows, and we couldn’t have been happier. All the furniture is moved upstairs, we just have a few more things left on the list, and then we’re set.
We made a trip to Walmart yesterday, and what an experience it was. The display of the worlds finest individuals were present there, that was apparent. And we hauled it in. TV stand, coffee table, floor lamps, kitchen necessities, the whole works. And, the little carpenters that we are, constructed everything with a screwdriver and a sweet pocket knife gizmo.
The house is quite lovely. I couldn’t be more excited to live here. Getting pictures hung, it’s a great little place for the three of us to hang, have some friends over, make dinner, and NOT WAS BIKES IN THE SHOWER!
So, now I’m getting stir crazy, i need to go hang some pictures, get a couch, and get some work done on this place. We’re going to sleep well tonight, and Ian better make us some good dinner when he gets back from camp. I’ll load some pictures of the place once we get all done and comfy!
